I have been trying to research my family history for nearly 2 years, I have done well with my mothers Cornish ancestry but have got stuck with my fathers Welsh roots.

I have visited the Anglsey records office 3 times but never found the definate answers I was looking for.

The problem is the family name is Hughes & there are lots of them!

I am a staff nurse working in a local Hospice, I've been married for 30 years & have 2 grown up sons. Our dog, a sprocker spaniel, takes up most of our spare time; but you have to admit that he is very cute!
