Location

This is a very large cemetary as you can see from the below overhead photo and I will add to this page as and when time permits

 Cemetary is in the center of the map below.

This cemetary needs a plan but at the moment I am more concerned with getting the transcription down as some headstones have already been lane down for H & S reasons

COATES Eva Mary

In memory of Eva Mary beloved wife of W. O. Coates, The Vron, Bangor. Died May 29th, 1915 aged 46 years.

DAVIES Annie Catherine In loving memory of Annie Catherine Davies wife of Evan Thomas Davies, Canon of Bangor Cathedral, born June 9th, 1846, died April 1st, 1923. Also of the said Evan Thomas Davies (Dyfric), born June 20th, 1847 - died October 31st, 1927
EDWARDS William

In ever loving memory of William Edwards, MA, for 27 years vicar of Bangor and rural Dean of Arfon since 1904 who passed away on August 10th 1913 aged 66 years old. "I am the resurrection and the life. He that believeth in me though he were dead yet shall he live."

ELLIS Owen

Er cof am Owen Ellis, grocer, Hirael, Bangor, yr hwn a fu farw Ionawr 1af, 1859 yn 49 mlwydd oed. Claddwyd ef yn nhan y fonwent Bangor. Hefyd yma y gorwedd Elizabeth ei wraig yr hon a fu farw Mai 7fed, 1866, yn 52 mlwydd oed. Hefyd y serchog cof am eu hunig fab Robert Ellis, builder, Liverpool yr hwn a fu farw Rhagfyr 7ed, 1888 yn 44ain mlwydd oed

FENN William

In loving memory of William Fenn of the First Battalion of the Welsh Guards was killed in France in action for his country October 13th, 1911. Leaves father, mother, brother, wife and child to mourn his loss - aged 29. "When the breath of life is flowing, when the grave of life must claim its own, Lord of life be ours, thy crown life for ever more."

HENRY Richard

In loving memory of Richard Henry (Harry) the dear husband of Katie Pape, 65 High Street, Bangor who fell asleep on July 14th, 1962 at 72 years of age. "He lives for ever in my heart beloved and unforgotten" Also the above named Katie who died March 27th, 1970 aged 82 years. "Reunited"

PRITCHARD Jennie

At rest in Joy and felicity free from a world of death and sin in holy memory of Jennie the beloved wife for 43 years of Rev. T.
